Yona Harvey is the founder of Mabuhay Canada – a one-stop website for Filipino lifestyle news, arts & culture, and more. 

Yona’s content has appeared in the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, Kingston Whig-Standard, Metroland Media community papers, and many other publications. She has a degree in Mass Communications from the University of the Philippines, and a certificate in Magazine Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University. Now, Yona calls the BoQ home and is on a mission to help other filipino newcomers.
