98: If you want to sail with us, you’re sailing • Rachael & Brett from Quinte Sailability

If you want to sail with us, you're sailing Babes of Quinte

Sailing has been a way to travel, a sport, and a leisure activity for 1000s of years. Even in Belleville, the yacht club has been around since 1876. However, it took until 2001 for sailing to become accessible to all people. Quinte Sailability is a sailing school for persons with a physical or developmental disability, regardless of age or degree of disability.

Today we will learn about the wonderful world of accessible sailing with Rachael Lamb the Quinte Sailability secretary-treasurer, and Brett Lyons Quinte Sailability Relations Officer.

Hey Babes!

We’re Katie & Kay and we’re the hosts of the Babes of Quinte podcast. We’re semi-qualified babes talking to the baddest and the brightest in the Bay of Quinte region.

babe /bāb/ being a babe has nothing to do with physical features, gender or sexual orientation. It’s a vibe. An aura. A quiet confidence.

If you believe you’re a babe, you are.

Welcome to our club.
