Indigenous peoples continuously work to reclaim their rights, language, and culture that were taken from them through colonization.
Over 30 years ago a group of parents from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory came together to create a way to raise their children so they could learn and honour their language and culture. Through this goal came Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na which plays a significant role in ensuring community members have access to their culture and language.
Babes of Quinte please help welcome Callie Hill the executive director of the Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na (TTO).
