Episode 53: Teamwork, Self-Care & Dogs ~ Zoey Jouwstra

Allow me to introduce a remarkable individual whose journey has been shaped by resilience, passion, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the community.

Growing up in a modest household with a young single mother who worked tirelessly to provide the same opportunities as her classmates, she understands firsthand the value of inclusive experiences for children.

Inspired by her upbringing, she’s dedicated her career to supporting local families in need through their work.

With a background in radio broadcasting, she honed her skills under the guidance of a remarkable mentor and a supportive all-female sales team.

However, her desire to effect positive change led her to embrace the role of Special Events Coordinator at The Children’s Foundation.

For the past 2.5 years, she’s found fulfillment in the creative work and collaboration involved in hosting beautiful events and fundraising initiatives.

Babes of Quinte, please welcome, Zoey Jouwstra, the Special Events Coordinator at The Children’s Foundation.

Hey Babes!

We’re Katie & Kay and we’re the hosts of the Babes of Quinte podcast. We’re semi-qualified babes talking to the baddest and the brightest in the Bay of Quinte region.

babe /bāb/ being a babe has nothing to do with physical features, gender or sexual orientation. It’s a vibe. An aura. A quiet confidence.

If you believe you’re a babe, you are.
