15: Girls Inc. Limestone ~ Michelle & Charlotte

Today we are chatting with not one guest but two.

Michelle Fields is an out-of-towner and our second guest to list Oromocto, New Brunswick as their hometown, which is truly shocking to us. She lived in Kingston and moved back to work there after University. She attended the University of Ottawa and received a Bachelor of Honours in Psychology with a Minor in Theatre. She then continued to St. Lawrence College and completed the Social Services program.

Charlotte Lees is very local and continues to return to Belleville after trying out different cities/towns. After high school, she attended St. Lawrence College in the Child and Youth Care program and then continued to Trent University to work towards a Bachelor of Social Work.

Michelle is currently, the Smart Start Program Supervisor at Girls Inc of Limestone and Charlotte is the Smart Start Program Coordinator for Girls Inc. in Belleville.

Girls Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting the needs and interests of girls across four counties in the greater Kingston and Belleville communities. They provide life skills, education, and mentoring programs for Girls, women and gender-impacted folks. The organization was founded in 1972 by Big Sisters Kingston, a group of women dedicated to improving the life situation of girls in the community.

Everyone, please welcome Michelle and Charlotte.

Hey Babes!

We’re Katie & Kay and we’re the hosts of the Babes of Quinte podcast. We’re semi-qualified babes talking to the baddest and the brightest in the Bay of Quinte region.

babe /bāb/ being a babe has nothing to do with physical features, gender or sexual orientation. It’s a vibe. An aura. A quiet confidence.

If you believe you’re a babe, you are.

Welcome to our club.
